LFG channel
DDO has a LFG feature that you click the LFG icon & you type in what mission or quest you need a group for. gives your character type & what level you are.
i have been trying for over 1 week to get a group together for prophecies endgame quests & it's (so far that i've seen & from what others in my PARTIAL groups have said) almost impossible to get a full group. it's so frustrating
i wish GW would impliment a feature like this. that way you could just PM whoever & join them. instead of going from town to town, district to district. so frustrating.

Nightfall is apperantly going to have a new party formation feature. I say we wait and see what that is before asking for more.
And the main problem with end-game prophesis quests is that there aren't enough people there who want to do them, not that they are spread out all over the place.

well i personally finished end game mission without any problems of join a particular group but if you are talking about "Vision of Glint" quests i've been trying to do some of them and i agree with you thats its not easy to find a group. Problem is actually completely different because people are spamming selling messages in all public channels and as you know u have to go to city or outpost to get a group and its hard to notice whether is some trying to do those missions. If this problem was “magically” fixed than this LFG icon would be completely useless.

If they add this they should also have the.... recruit channel, WTS channel, WTB channel, WTT channel, GLF channel, the guild wars disscussion channel, the off topic disscussion channel, etc.

CoH/CoV has a global directory where you can look up by lvl, class, and you can leave a comment what you're looking for

Although it's not quite as fancy as what you're describing, we already have a LFG channel, it's called the local channel.

The problem isn't that we need a new channel for LFG, it's that some people refuse to use the proper channels in the first place. Even if they add a new channel, more than likely most people will ignore it.

what you're describing is different than what i'm talking about. if you've played DDO you'd know.
when you click the LFG icon in DDO a LFG symbol pops up over your head. & players can go to a separate LFG screen. you scroll through & see who needs what quest. no spamming. you just select who you want & pm 'em. join up & go. it's really easy & would cut down on travel time from city to city & district to district when trying to find ppl for certain quests.

if nightfall gets a new party formation ability, that should be classed as a universal upgrade for all campaigns

Can't tell at the moment though whether it's a mechanic thing or has some neat feature within party forming that none of us are aware of.
If only they implemented the heroes (customizable henches right?) earlier ...
But my fingers are crossed!
